I just watched this YouTube clip and it really makes me sort of uncomfortable.

Sure this development is amazing. And I fear that they are right that it will change our world but I don’t now if I should be happy about it.

• Great that news spread faster than ever and everybody gets a journalist, but what if rumors even spread faster as the perhaps not so interesting truth? Word of mouth instead of reliable sources?
• It’s easy to get the impression one knows his followers and likes them, but what if they are fakes just trying to influence you? To recommend you their and not the best product? To sell you a certain ideology?
• What about the informational gap between the developed world and the rest? Between old and you people?
• What about psychic problems caused by no longer be able to deal with the non virtual, the real world?
• Will you have time to meet real friends when you have to take care of 1000 followers?
• A lot of people are already overcharged by the speed with that our live runs today. How should they cope with that further acceleration?

I’m not a technology enemy, not at all, but I can’t really join in with the enthusiasm of this spot, the downsides just scare me too much.
